Lots of Christmas markdowns now! Saw 75-90% off Christmas/holiday items. Wal-Mart was drastically giving markdowns today when I was there. Christmas items, Christmas toys, Christmas candy and whatever else was thrown in.
Seasonal clothing sales are here too. The stores have to make room for spring clothing, so keep your eyes open on winter clearance sales. Make a list of what you need to help you not buy duplicates, but buying what you can for next year now can save a lot of money.
This is a good time to put a few small toy gifts in your gift box for the last minute birthday party, etc. Wal-Mart had the lego people regularly $3 for $1. Helps in a pinch.
